3.3.2.2 Using INSTALL.NLM on NetWare 4.x or IntranetWare

Once you have expanded the UCM.EXE self-extracting archive to its destination, load INSTALL.NLM by executing the following command from the NetWare console prompt:

 :LOAD INSTALL <Enter>

If you are on a NetWare 4.x or IntranetWare server, you should see a screen similar to the one shown in Figure 3.3 below:

Select the "Product Options" menu item and press <Enter>. You will be presented with a list of optional products that were provided with the version of NetWare that you purchased, similar to the one shown in Figure 3.4 below:

Select the "Install a Product Not Listed" menu option, and press <Enter>. You will be presented with a dialog box informing you of your installation options, similar to the one shown in Figure 3.5 below:

At this point, you will likely need to modify the default source directory provided by INSTALL.NLM.

• If you are installing from a temporary directory on the server, press <F3> and type the name of the temporary directory that you created on the NetWare server in section 3.3.1.1 Extracting to the Server into the dialog box.
  
  
• If you are installing from a remote workstation, press <F4> and type the name of the local directory (including the drive letter) into the dialog box provided.
  
  
• If you are installing from a floppy diskette on the server, and drive A: is the drive that you wish to use, then you can accept the defaults. Otherwise, press <F3> and type the drive letter of the NetWare server's floppy drive that contains the installation diskette.
