If you are importing a directory from another server, or if you are importing a manually-created file, then you will likely need to modify the format of the import file prior to the import. For more information about the import file, refer to section G.5 Format of the Export/Import Files.
Importing data into the directory is achieved through the use of the UCMCON.NLM management tool. UCMCON.NLM is a NetWare Loadable Module that runs on the NetWare server. To load UCMCON, type the following command at the NetWare console prompt:
:LOAD UCMCON <Enter>
You will be presented with a screen similar to the following:

Figure 4.45: UCMCON's main menu.
Select the "Configuration" menu item and press <Enter>. You will then be presented with a set of configuration menu choices similar to the following:

Select the "Directory" menu option and press <Enter>. You will then be presented with a list of directory-specific choices, similar to the following:

Select the "Import" menu option and press <Enter>. You will then be presented with a screen similar to the following:

Enter a source file name for the import file, choose the format of the import file that you want to use, and select the import method that you wish to use.
WARNING: Unoverica Corporation strongly recommends that you use the "Tab Delimited" format for the import file format, and not the "Comma Delimited" format, as embedded commas may cause problems with other applications that may be used to create or modify the import file. Unoverica Corporation also strongly recommends that you use the "Merge" method instead of the "Replace" method, as "Merge" will update any existing records while "Replace" will delete all existing records prior to the update.
For more information about the format of the exported file, refer to section G.5 Format of the Export/Import Files.
STEP: To configure Unoverica Message Transports mail routing services, allowing mail to be sent and received to a domain, or to configure Unoverica Message Transport to work with a firewall, go to Chapter 5:Configuring Mail Routing.
