Option values can have a variety of different data types, depending on the function they serve. They can accept ASCII strings (useful for entering file and directory names), numbers, mixed strings of text and numbers, or can be limited to predefined options. The data you enter will be determined by the type of option that you define.
Options that use units of time for values can be configured in seconds, minutes, hours, days or weeks. To modify the unit of time used by the option, select the option you wish to modify as detailed above, and press <Enter>. Then select the time unit displayed in the option, and press <Enter> again. You will then be presented with a menu of available time similar to the following:

Select the time unit you wish to use with this option and press <Enter>. Press <Esc> to close the option edit field.
