F.2.27 Password Fail Delay for POP3 server (+PWDFAILDELAY)

Description:

If a POP3 user provides a bad username during login, the NetWare server will return an error immediately. However, if a user provides a valid username but invalid password during login, the NetWare server will delay the error for five seconds.

This option allows you to force the POP3 server to wait an additional amount of time before sending an invalid password error message. Invalid accounts errors are returned immediately.

Values:

0 seconds - 9999 weeks

Default:

10 (seconds)

Notes:

There is no way to override the system default of five seconds.
