F.2.56 Use Directory (+DIRECTORY)

Description:

In-bound mail that is destined for a user on the local mail server is mapped in one of two ways: either by the Unoverica Message Transport mail server examining the NetWare bindery for a NetWare user account of the same name, or by looking in Unoverica Message Transport’s internal directory of users.

This option determines which location should be examined first. Setting this option to YES forces Unoverica Message Transport to search its internal directory of users for the correct recipient, while setting this option to NO forces Unoverica Message Transport to search the NetWare bindery for a matching user account.

Values:

YES/NO

Default:

NO

Notes:

Currently, Unoverica Message Transport does not recognize NDS user accounts explicitly, but instead searches the NetWare bindery as defined by the NetWare "SET BINDERY CONTEXT" command.

If you need to support multiple NDS branches or duplicate NetWare user accounts (possible only with NDS), then you must synchronize the NDS tree with the Unoverica Message Transport directory, and enable this option.
